Resources

Official resources for families

A carefully selected starting point for parents and caregivers. These links are for education, care navigation, school support, crisis response, or provider finding; inclusion is not an endorsement, certification, or guarantee of treatment quality.

Before using a resource

Check the jurisdiction, age range, cost, referral rules, language access, waitlist, and whether the organization provides education, a directory, clinical care, or crisis support. A provider listing does not prove pediatric experience, ARFID or feeding-disorder expertise, swallowing competence, insurance participation, or current availability.

For immediate physical danger, choking, breathing difficulty, severe dehydration, or acute mental-health danger, use local emergency services. See red flags and urgent help.

How to check whether a provider fits

  • Do you work routinely with children or adolescents in this age range?
  • What experience do you have with ARFID, pediatric feeding disorder, ADHD, swallowing concerns, or relevant co-occurring conditions?
  • Which problems do you assess, and which require referral to another professional?
  • How do you coordinate with the child's pediatrician, school, and other clinicians?
  • Do you assess swallowing safety when relevant, or refer to someone who does?
  • What are your insurance, referral, waitlist, language, telehealth, and geographic limitations?

Directory maintenance

Links and services change. Each entry includes a review date, but a review date does not mean the organization has verified or endorsed this site. Recheck destination, scope, age range, access notes, and crisis information before relying on a resource.

Sources and methodology

This directory summarizes the linked organizations' own public descriptions and separates government, professional, clinical, directory, advocacy, school, insurance, and crisis roles. It is a navigation aid, not a ranking or endorsement. The linked pages themselves are the authoritative sources for current service details.
